A large part of the Montessori experience is the opportunity to “go out”. As the young child spends a majority of his Children’s House years discovering and developing his or her self, the older child spends his time exploring his role in relation to others in the world. Therefore, the ability to “go out” and speak to people is critical to his development. There will be two (2) school wide trips for the five and six year olds in the Children’s House. These trips are planned as a group and are subject to availability of each location.
