At The Woods, we provide a foundation that cultivates a lifelong love of learning grounded in peace, respect, independence, and excellence.
“The first duty of an education is to stir up life, but leave it free to develop”

“To aid life, leaving it free, however, that is the basic task of the educator.”

“The greatest development is achieved during the first years of life, and therefore it is then that the greatest care should be taken.”

☀️🌿 Week 2 snapshots! 🌿☀️
From tending the garden and preparing snacks to spending time outdoors and making memories with friends, every day is filled with opportunities to learn, explore, and have fun. 🤩
We are loving all the simple moments that make Summer Camp so special! 💛✨
🌱🌼 In keeping with our Garden Wonders theme this week, our students have been enjoying caring for the classroom gardens and making sure the plants receive plenty of water and attention. 💧🤗
In Montessori, caring for plants is an important Practical Life activity. Through simple tasks like watering, children develop responsibility, concentration, coordination, and a sense of respect for the living world around them.
Plus, it`s so rewarding to watch something grow with a little love and care! 🌿✨
